ABOUT MGM UNIVERSITY

ABOUT SCHOOL OF BASIC AND APPLIED SCIENCES
The School of Basic and Applied Sciences (SBAS) at MGM University was established from the academic year 2021-2022. SBAS is the cornerstone of foundational knowledge and practical understanding in various critical scientific disciplines. School offers a diverse array of academic programs including both UG and PG degrees. These encompass a wide spectrum of subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Forensic Science, Applied Geology, Cosmetic Technology, Environmental Science and Community Science. Our multidisciplinary approach fosters and environment, where students can explore their passion and interest while gaining valuable knowledge and expertise.

The Department of Physics (SBAS) of MGM University is a dynamic hub for learning, exploration and advanced research in physics, offering a comprehensive suite of UG, PG and Ph.D. programs designed to empower the next generation of physicists and innovators. We are committed to providing a world-class education that aligns with the ambitious goals of the Gov’t's NEP-2020. Technology oriented courses like Quantum Technology, Semiconductor Technology, Energy Storage and Devices, Biomedical Instrumentation etc. are introduced at PG level. The Department of Physics is equipped with well-established laboratories and modern classrooms, providing a conductive academic environment for comprehensive theoretical and experimental Learning.
